5 (who?)

I have recently had lots of requests from some fellow deviants to help them with writing poetry and how they can win contests and one day get published.  I thought it would be a good idea to let everybody know that I am willing and happy to help in any way I can.  Most poets I am mentoring are young writers who are just starting out, but I am here for anybody who might have a question or need advice on anything relating to poetry.
For those interested, I would ask that you note me, and leave me a short explanation of what you need, and if it is a specific poem you have a question about, please leave me a link to it.  I am entering into the slow season at my job, so I am going to have plenty of extra time on my hands.  For those that don't know me, I am a poet laureate, with seven awards for poetry, with three being from the National Library Of Poetry, 1 from Poetry.Com, and 3 from Shadow Poetry.  I have poems published in the anthologies 'A Muse To Follow' and 'A Surrender To The Moon.'  I have two published works named 'Whispers In The Wind' and 'The Songs Of Martyrs.'  I have been writing since 1976, and have plans for a new book to be published within the next year or so.
I love helping others to achieve their dreams, so please let me know if you want my help.  One last thing.  I do a seminar type thing here in deviantART every year, and will be doing the next one in January 2013.  I pretty much write a poem every day of the month, with each poem being in a different form.  I explain, in detail, how to write that form, and give tips on meter, verse, syllables, structure and so on.  It is really useful to all poets who want to learn new forms to write in, or to brush up on the ins and outs of verse.  I wish all of you well, and will be here if needed...

Thank you to all who expressed kindness and well wishes for my sister.  She is doing well, and will be heading home for Texas soon.  Her son Scott is going to stay with her for awhile when she gets home.  As expected, she is almost healed from the physical abuse she received, but has only begun to heal from the mental anguish she still endures.  She has plenty of support and a family that loves her very much.

My continued prayers to my friends Lil,  Chas, Chelsea, Dawn, Linda Jayne, Tammara, and Shell

To my friends and watchers I wish you a wonderful and prosperous week ahead... :icontimmy64plz:

:iconthe-virgin-suicide: Absenting EI lost my words upon catching sight of your form, as you lay among sprouts with your lips slightly apart and your lids shut tight.
I was not looking for you, or for anything. I was on my way back to my room, back to my automatons, my robots, and I snuck a look at you. Stopping, watching for a bit, I was caught.
You should know that you, my daring boy, had thrown away your morning on a walk through woodlands. I had thrown away my morning on my laptop, as always. Do you find your soul in plants, in fauna?
Your nights consist of a nap in the grass, staring up at a black sky and thinking through your past. I cannot fathom how you do this again and again. Nights build up that you cast off to a starry sky, a ground on which to faint, a book to flip through if apathy occurs.
I am a vassal to html, to www dot com, to this cathodic display which haunts my hours and always holds my thought. You, I think, did this too, many months ago. You would not abandon your big comfy chair, your laptop and i
Behind Closed Doors (Ode to DeMello)Is it possible for love to bloom out of a moan?
Through the cracks in the floorboards?
Can lingering fingers become lingering stares and then lingering romance?
And from where do our kisses come?
From the lips
or the heart
or the flicker of an eyelash against your cheek
as you fall asleep next to me.

Your fairy is called Oak Goblinwitchgreen dragon animated avatar by ftourini
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in forests of oak and lime trees.
She is only seen in the enchanted moment between sleep and waking.
She decorates herself with leaves and berries. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
