This is a collaborative effort between myself and the wonderfully talented Paul
I would like to thank Paul for allowing me to put poetry to his original work titled 'Memento Mori.' I hope he likes this and considers it worthy of being along side his work.
This poem, of the same title, is written in the French form called a Rondeau. It is a form that relies on two rhymes and a refrain. I will be holding my structured poetry shindig in January, and if you are interested I will be covering this form alongside many others.
An excellent piece. Love is the antidote to pain. Whatever setbacks we suffer love can give us courage and strength. The loss is painful and sad but the memories will linger on and warm our soul and help us to experience eternal peace.
Congratulations to both of you!
