Literature Text

Be still the waters that flow this night
and bring a calm to Zephyr’s breath.
Silence songs that Sirens sing
and let not Hades seek for death.
I have drank the wine of Dionysus
and braved Poseidon’s sea;
in seeking out my one true love
that better part of me.
I have reached the steps of Venus’s throne
resplendent in auras of blue
she pointed up into the night sky
where I saw such a vision of you.
There within the moon’s glossy light
remains there a vision of you…

Romantic alliterations at their best are spoken by the beloved.. sounds very heartfelt and real. Nice work is always a pleasure to read. :)
